Ableton Mobile Prototype, 2023

This project was a UX portfolio project I decided to take on as a personal project. After taking a UX Design class at my university, I developed an interest in using Figma to design prototypes for effective design of apps and/or websites.

I use Ableton Live 11 on my laptop for live performances in combination with my digital keyboard. I began thinking about the user interface on Ableton and its complexity and typically intimidating visuals for amateurs and beginners. Then I wondered if there was a way to make a simpler, more intuitively structured version for easy use during live stages that was usable to beginners.

I decided to try and prototype a more simple, beginner-friendly mobile app for Ableton Live that was customizable.
